![]() The wood is book matched (ash ?) on the front and plane ash on the back as a faceing, otherwise it is solid mahogany and heavey. A very gutzy, loud, ballzy, in your face, and meaty pick-ups on both guitars. Great break-up as well as teriffic cleans. ![]() The Invicta has a neck through design with two split coil humbuckers at 11.5K. This is a model up one or two spots up from the X290 Workman. The second is an "Electra X260 Invicta" model. I paid $216 out the door price with no case. That fact reminds me of the Gibby Les Paul "Frettless Wonder". The strings hover just a very few mill thicknesses above the medium frets from one end to the other and no buzz at all. The action, I have witnessed on only a very precious few guitars in my 40 years of playing and is, to say the least, " phanominal". It has the legendary 11.5K humbuckers x2 and not split. It is a black color bolt on neck and is practically like new looking with no buckle rash. More item details and/or specifications below.I picked up two 30 year old Electras. Please check out (and enjoy) the many photos I've included, then ask any questions you may have before making your purchase of this incredible instrument. I think you will be very happy to be rockn this bad mutha.OUT!! I preferred to just leave it off.) The only other thing I can think of is that the bridge and tailpiece are Gotoh and may be replacements. It is missing the truss rod cover (I've been looking for a replacement, but the original owner did include a couple he had been working on. The strap buttons have been moved for greater stability and comfort and one of the tuners is not original. It comes with very few bumps and bruises which is amazing for its age. Includes the original hardshell fitted V case. It features a (gorgeous) mahogony body with a red burgundy wine finish, two double coil humbucker pickups, a bolt on neck, chrome hardware and the tailpiece posts are imbeded directly into the body for extra sustain. ![]() This particular one is in pretty good condition too I must add. So you like to rock the V do you? Flying Wedge indeed! I do agree its pretty sweet. ![]() Wine red burgundy finished mahogany body with two double coil humbucking pickups Vintage 1975 Electra 2236 Flying Wedge V Electric Guitar ![]()
